FAMILY DAY!

You may remember Spencer and Kim from a shoot during the summer. After the shoot with them, his mom wanted to do pictures for her birthday... Although this was a bit before her actual birthday, we got to take advantage of the beautiful fall weather and had a lot of fun doing it. They were up for anything I had in mind and brought ideas of their own. Between the extremely hyped-up dog and laughs, we got some great pictures and it ended up turning out great! I had a hard time picking the ones to put up from this shoot but here's a few of them! Thanks for a fun day and some great new pictures guys!

A LIL' EVENING TRIP!

It's been a while since I've posted some pictures... or even taken some pictures. I was just in the  mood to get some beautiful pictures so I went out around sunset (so I only got to go out for about half an hour or so) but I had a good time. I just decided to go to Barnston Island because I live about a 5 minute drive away. By the time I got over there it was too dark to go much past the water line... but that's ok with me, I love the pictures I got. I also got to meet the Greater Vancouver Motorcycle Club which was fun. Took a couple pictures for them on their last ride of the season. We just happened to be coming and going at the same time and we had some good conversation... who knows, maybe one day I'll be riding with them! :) Here's some pictures I took. P.S. NEW LOOK!

Hey guys... I have finally upadated my blog banner. It's been a while and I wasn't totally happy with it. So I guess I'm also getting to introduce my new logo to you. I personally LOVE it. My web designer played around with what I had before and I can't believe how much more I like it! It was a simple case of not knowing I didn't like something... until I had another option! So I've very excited to show everyone. P.S. My website should be up and running in the next month! YAYYYYY!   XOXO

SUGAR & SPICE & A CRAZY MUD FIGHT!

Well, me and Meg (the birthday girl!) had been planning this shoot out for a while. At the beginning of the summer she asked me to do a shoot for her birthday and I was super excited because she is such a fun girl so I knew it would be fun... and that it was. I went scouting for a perfect location and found this little spot on the side of the road when I was driving around. I though if they were up for it, we could play in the water and get some mud on their feet and stuff... but the mud turned out to be a lot more intense than I remembered! Walking through it, we were ankle deep right away... I had worn gum boots in preparation but they got so stuck that I had to take my feet out and walk barefoot too!! Luckily the girls had fun with it and we were able to get so many awesome pictures! Thanks girls and happy birthday to the Megster! XOXO

ONCE UPON A TIME...

So here is the first of hopefully a series of shoots! Me and my friend Natasha (the makeup artist for the day) have been planning doing modern twists on fairy tales, fables, and Disney characters. It's fitting that the first one was our take on the first animated film EVER... Snow White! It was so fun! And we totally got the look we wanted. Tamara, our fabulous model, had an amazing transformation and it was a real blast to go back to childhood for an afternoon. Here's a sample of what we did... It was honestly hard to choose!!! I love them!!!!
