1930's CIRCUS THEME

This shoot was a ton of fun! It was inspired by Water For Elephants. We had started doing some pictures with her wedding dress as this couple are newlyweds! I was doing some behind the scene's video as well as some photography so you wont get the full idea of the theme until you see the other photographer's pictures as well! I will link to her site and the makeup artist's site asap. Just wanted to get some of these pictures up while I have some time! It was an all day shoot and we all had so much fun with everyone... including Amos, the sheep who trekked around with us all day for some pictures! Enjoy!

This sweet little guy came in not even two weeks old. I was really excited to spend some more time in my studio and experiment with what I have there. His mom was actually one of the two winners from the draw at the Thyme Maternity store (mentioned in a previous post). Here are the first few shots that I absolutely love. He is such a sweet baby... I'm sure you'll agree.

TREVOR & ALISHA

This was such a fun engagement shoot with my friends, Trevor and Alisha. I just could not post these pictures without saying how we all met! So we are all huge basketball fans and we ran into each other on several occations at basketball events in Vancouver (which are few and far between). Not only that, but we also bumped into each other two years in a row seeing games in Portland! So finally we actually met and now we're friends and hang out and lots so it's one of my favorite friend stories. But seriously, such nice people. You really don't meet that many genuinely nice people so I always feel like "nice" is the most under-rated compliment. They are honestly two in a million! Despite the rain, and the power-outage, and the insanely high heels, the pictures turned out amazing! Love you guys! xoxo



DUSTIN & LAURA

It was finally their big day and despite some pre-wedding weather concerns, the day turned out PERFECT! The day was perfectly planned and everything went off without a hitch. We had just the right amount of time to get all the pictures we all wanted to get. The ceremony took place in a beautiful Catholic church and after a fun ride around town in their getaway car, we took all the pictures at their beautiful home! I'm so excited for this couple, they are so sweet and fun and I loved working with them! Here are some of the pictures from the day!
